Charlie St. Cloud

I just saw a magnificent movie - The kind of film that gives a deep sense of life, of purpose. It made love visible.

I hope death is just like it was portrayed in the movie - walking through a green forest at last after the pain of letting go, the sun low with rays lighting up the spaces between the branches. The walk is perfectly blissful as you remember the best moments of your life, the moments lifted by joy. The light becomes exquisitely bright and welcoming, and you simply step into it. Pure peace.

The film completely enraptured me and moved me. Everything unimportant in life - all the petty concerns – fell away as what truly matters was illuminated.

I’m grateful.

And, Zac Effron proved he is not only an attractive man, but a powerful actor. I don't care what anyone else says, this movie just became one of my favorites!

  1. I haven't been to BC in ten years. I'm sure this is an interesting perspective.

Though, not a fan of Hollywood's idea of attractive people. Best to Effron, but don't you feel like if you lightly tapped his face with an itty-bitty hammer, that it would shatter like glass?

  2. Haha - yes, he does kind of have that fragile doll appearance. But, he proved his strength for me in this movie.
