This is real life not spring break

It's already Friday! I can't believe how fast this week has gone. But, maybe it's because the earliest I've gotten out of bed this week has been 10:30 am. All week, I've been feeling like a high school student on spring break. My days have consisted of marathons of "Say Yes to the Dress," yoga sets, Zumba in my living room, job searches, cover letter drafts, big bowls of salad and stacks of magazines. Then, the evenings turn into social outings.

Living the life, eh? BUT, then I remember this is not spring break. This is my REAL life. So, I better kick it into gear. I'm getting restless. I need a job...any job really, so that I can feel accomplished and be able to move in with friends in October. So, if you hear of any leads, I would so appreciate if you send them my way. Sometimes I feel disheartened dwelling on my current situation. Then, I realize I should savor this time in my life. When else will I have so much spare time on my hands and such a blank slate to fill? ... Ideally not anytime again soon!

Alright, on that note - I'm going to go clean and try to be productive now. Then, I'm going to one of my favorite yoga classes in the morning. It's going to be such a welcome treat as I haven't been in town to go for the past two weekends. Can't wait!

  3. @Chantel - thanks. I'm trying to stay positive. Yeah, the breaks in life are nice, but I've had way too many of them. At this stage in life, I'm ready to work hard and work lots.

@Allen - hmm? Dress to sets? Oh - I watch "Say Yes to the Dress (A wedding dress show on TLC)" Then, later I practice different yoga sets. I guess we can combine those two activities into "Dress to sets." haha.
