I'm currently adopting the new motto:
"Life is too short to live the same day twice."
I heard this cliche spark of inspiration from the movie Monster-in-law (one of the best feel-good movies if you want to laugh until you cry - esp when you are bed ridden and recovering from a 24-hour bug!) Yes, this does mean I'm yet again taking advice from Jennifer Lopez. What can I say, she's a smart cookie! If you're lost, refer back to this blog to understand more.
In the film, she was a dog-walker, a caterer, a little league coach and a yoga instructor - yep, a yoga instructor. :) So, in a humorous way it all resonated and triggered me to pick up my life and pursue my array of interests.
Step number 1? Today, I'm at this perfect little converted house coffehouse called "The Library" in downtown meridian where I'm typing out a story to get me writing again. My story is about a playful river otter finding the balance of life. We'll see where it goes - all I know is that it is so great to be writing again. :)
the cute little teapot my tea was served in - found my new favorite writing place!
